FVT QnA – bodyweight workouts to do on vacation, how NOT to start a PT biz + more

Happy Friday!

It’s time again for another FVT QnA session. Thanks for all the great feedback on the last one, I’ll keep ’em going every couple of weeks or so, as long as you keep sending in your questions!

“Sometime this summer would you be willing to post body weight workouts people can do on vacation?”

Sure – there are lots of bodyweight workouts on my blog – here’s a great one to start with that I posted up earlier this week:

The creator of that post / video – a new “fitness friend” of mine, Kiley Lynch – also has a complete “Extreme Home Workouts” program that would be perfect for you as well – and he has it on sale this week for FVT readers – more info and grab a copy for your summer workouts at the link below:

“My wife and I have been teaching/coaching fitness and Zumba for a few years now for a local gym and now we want to open our own studio to have body weight/calisthenics, kettlebell and Zumba classes. I was wondering if you could give a little advice on what not to do … we want to I want to be able to leave my full time job and do what I love to do help people get fit and healthy.”

Perfect timing! My new “Top 21 Fitness Business Mistakes … and How to Avoid Them!” program is now live! It covers 21 of the biggest mistakes I made when I was starting in the fitness business over 10 years ago … and how I’d do things differently if I had to start all over again. Check out the new program at the link below:

I also covered a few of the mistakes we go into more depth on in the full training on a blog post last week on FVTBiz.com:

“I want to be able to do more pull ups. Got any good tips for beginners? Once again, thanks:-)”

Sure! Here’s a great post from 2014 on the ForestVance.com blog that goes over a 4 step progression for conquering the pull up:

Okay, that’s it for today’s QnA … hope it helped, and don’t forget to send in your questions for next time!

Thanks, train hard, and talk soon –
